    in silico

    some clever kid is going to get the necessary levels of abstraction and specificism
    to generate a computer model that crosses the artificial boundaries of our study...
    kind of like Einstein
    or more like Maxwell in fact
    because the understanding may be lacking
    but the experimentation/program-build will be evident
